Through this website I like to get in contact with new partners for a stamp exchange.
This English language page is a summary of my German pages and shall give you an overview of what I have to offer and what I am looking for.

I offer stamps from Switzerland and other mainly West-European countries in mint and used.
The details of my offerings can be found in Tauschangebot Schweiz for Switzerland and Tauschangebot Europa for other Western European countries and the United Nations. All numbers are from Michel catalogue.
You can also send me your want list and I might be able to obtain stamps through other exchange partners (please Michel catalogue numbers only).
Please note that I will not offer mint Swiss stamps that are still postally valid (including new releases).

I seek stamps only in mint quality (** = mint never hinged: MNH) and from these countries and organisations:

I seek stamps that are catalogued as a set only in complete sets; exceptions are marked with an asterix (*).

Many of my collections are rather advanced and I seek mostly stamps before the year 1955 and some new releases from the past 10 years.
Because it is increasingly hard to find these missing items I am also open to offerings for "higher priced" mint issues and only from the countries in the above list. I also seek German stamps that are valid for postage.

Since I have a large stock in Swiss stamps and many duplicates from other countries I am particularly interested in an exchange and would consider to buy stamps only in rare circumstances.

Guidelines for the exchange

For an exchange I suggest the following principles:

• Basis for the exchange shall be the latest Michel catalogue or the Michel Online Catalogue
• Only stamps in fine quality with complete perforation and proper postmarks should be exchanged
• Mint stamps must be mint with original gum and without hinges or traces of a hinge
• Any partner can refuse to accept certain stamps but should indicate the reason for the return
• In my want list I normally seek complete sets only because it is difficult to obtain the more expensive values from a set of stamps. When I seek a single stamp from a set I have marked this with an asterix (*)
• Stamps outside my want list, incomplete sets, stamps with minor defects, etc. should be offered beforehand in order to avoid unnecessary returns

Shipping

• Shipping shall be on the senders risk. He or she will decide whether to send a letter by normal, registered or insured mail. The sender will bear the risk for an eventual damage or loss.
• The sender shall receive his postage back. If agreed, the recipient can keep the postage and it will be charged to his account.
